Released under Bernd Witthuser’s name, this was actually the first collaborative effort with his partner in-crime Walter Westrupp (their infamous “W&Ws Pop-Cabaret”). An enchanting collection of acoustic folk songs, albeit with a touch of black humour, on the subjects, you guessed it, vampires, nuns and death based on texts by Baltus Brosel, Heinrich Heine, Novalis and Thomas Rother… Simple and haunting melodies with a spellbinding cosmic touch.
